Riccardo Tisci does it again. A Bird of Paradise print, forest green and military were the immediate themes of this innovative collection that has the heart racing when the clothes are seen up-close. The small details on each piece are knockout, for example the material is cut to accommodate the print that follows seamlessly from the jumper to the shorts, trousers or kilt. Heavy duty cotton bomber jackets are made unique by design elements to the collars, pockets and cuffs. A tiny strip is sewn into the shirts to hold ties while subtle panels of netting have been incorporated into the cotton shirts. The accessories (belts, shoes, bags) all follow suit. With this statement collection Tisci has taken casual wear to a whole new level, who else could take a flower and make it look so menacing?
