‘Virtue’ is the achingly elegant, ten song compendium released by singer/ songwriter Emmy The Great, the little lady with the big heart.
Head of the solo, sometimes collaborative project that is Emmy The Great, Emma Lee Moss released debut album ‘First Love’ just two years ago and quickly amassed a loyal following of adoring fans. Born in Hong Kong and now based in London, the softly spoken 27-year-old artist references an eclectic array of techniques in her progressive music which she brands ‘anti-folk’. Keeping quiet in her own corner, writing about matters very personal to her in a whimsical, fairy-tale manner, Emmy’s music sounds how a broken heart feels. i-D Online caught up with Emmy for tea and banter. Believe the hype, the girl is great.
