2 Bears are Raf Rundell and Joe Goddard, the curious, church-going, hard grafting, hairy house DJs who make diverse and melodic fidget themed dance music. First friends and then creative partners Raf, aka DJ Raf Daddy, was formerly a label head and club producer who happened upon Joe’s music when he was off writing as a solo artist, working as a producer and contributing to the success of then buzz band Hot Chip. Long-standing mates since school both share a passion for left field hard house. Becoming members of the Greco-Roman Soundsystem collective before breaking free to go it alone with their own minimal electronic beats and riddim flavourful releases, the pair have since enjoyed massive success. With no need for any more introduction, this week’s i-DJ comes at you in the form of two oversized otters. This is the 2 Bears, uncensored.
