Showing a collection at the Rothschild apartments to a front row including Jane Birkin and Lou Doillon; Ronnie Wood and Florence Welch, Pilati delivered a show that deserved to basque in the limelight. Using a distorted dogstooth for his deluxe outerwear, Pilato created jackets that were as chic as they were contemporary. Throwing in some studded patent, he made sure things stayed edgy and tough. For eveningwear, it all went a bit ‘Bianca Jagger’ with a series of blinding white tuxedos, lean jumpsuits, fluffy maribou jackets and draped grecian gowns.
