“I love narrative in songwriting, always have. The ability to delve into character and story, and to lose yourself completely in wherever the song takes you.”
Settling down in front of a piano at the tender age of six, London born and based acoustic artist Marcus Foster has had a lifelong love affair with music. Coining an original but old-fashioned sound, which resonates with melancholic nostalgia, Marcus rose to recognition after featuring on the soundtrack to Twilight and providing several tracks to the road movie Five Dollars a Day starring Christopher Walken and Sharon Stone.
Following on from a recent, successful tour of America, Marcus releases his first official video, ‘Shadows Of The City’, exclusive to i-D Online.
