Marc Jacobs has got one thing on his mind this season. Sex. And lots of it. Today’s Louis Vuitton show opened with four male doorman appearing from stairs in the centre to stand alongside ornate elevators (circa the 1940′s) which were opened one by one, as the models rose to the surface. An elaborate set, that provided the perfect setting for a disciplined, kinky and provocative collection. Enter; a knockout cast including Naomi, Amber, Carolyn and finally the madame herself, Kate Moss (smoking a post-coital fag) dressed in an array of rubber dominatrix boots, see-through flasher macs, French maid uniforms, diamond encrusted blind-folds and crystal handcuffs. Beyond the high energy peep show, were luxurious coats with nipped waists and voluminous sleeves; chic knits with peter pan collars; shapely fitted pencil skirts with fluted hemlines and high-waisted jodhpurs – the essence of dressage. On the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Jacobs managed to seduce, bewitch and delight, with his own unique brand of showmanship. Wh-tsh!
