Paris, 05/03/11. Viktor & Rolf.

The vast wooden drawbridge was slowly lowered to reveal models with bright red faces and swash-buckling ankle-length coats that swished as they walked. Collars were high with thick woollen ribbing and details varied from tudor ruffles, red roses, and dragon-like spines running down the arms. The monochrome palette was punctuated with flashes of blood red, on the shoes, on sashes and as panels on trousers. For the finale, intricate origami folds came in metallic silver creating an elaborate take on medieval armour.
