Paris, 01/03/11. Hakaan.

Hakaan began with a loud jolt as the music, Kate Bush, boomed through the cavernous venue. Masculine, tailored looks alternated with body-con dresses, some with Grecian pleats on mini skirts that mixed sheer with panelling. The palette comprised of blocks of black, white, red, grey and navy. Hemlines were sky high and sleeves were slashed at the shoulder to reveal skin. Loose wool suits fastened on the extremities of the hip and square pockets opened to the side. Trousers were baggy and paired with voluminous fur coats, notably the cherry red worn by Mariacarla Boscono. Large knits with high necks were paired with shiny, leather mini-skirts and black stiletto heels with bondage-style ankle straps.
