This season the Rodarte sisters gave us an arts and crafts, harvest-inspired collection that was full of sunshine. Pinafore dresses were expertly constructed with square patchwork details and silk gowns were cut on the bias with ears of wheat printed on hemlines. Embroidered dirndls and antique lace, all came in straw-like hues whilst lean frock coats were in shades of cornflower blue and bright poppy red…you could almost smell the fresh meadow air.
