Narciso Rodriguez said he had been looking at different types of art, clearly evident from his ultra-precise collection for Fall. There was abstract modernism in the tailored jackets and coats, which were divided into stripes and blocks of contrasting colours. This, combined with the two-tone trousers and clean lines, made for an uber-graphic show. Whilst the tailoring was severely disciplined, the delicate slip dresses in layers of chiffon kept things light. A modernist viewpoint for fashion lovers everywhere.
