Showing in an elegant townhouse on the edge of Central Park, Victoria Beckham continues to attract the attention of fashion’s finest. With Stefan Beckman’s beautiful flooring and a Barbra Streisand soundtrack, the scene was set. Victoria assumed her position on the front row and proceeded to humbly introduce herself and her collection. As the models walked, she candidly talked us through each look in knowledgeable detail. Victoria’s clothes have continued to evolve and grow in confidence and reputation, resulting in a more relaxed collection this season with exposed zips and precise pleating in lean, uncomplicated silhouettes. Towards the end, she said, “wow, this feels like a proper show” – which I for one would not disagree with.
