Antonio Marras brought outside inside in a romantic presentation for I’M Isola Marras at his Milan showroom. Inspired by a walk in the English countryside, models wandered dreamily through crisp autumnal leaves and billowing smoke, draped in long layers of check, luxuriously soft ribbed knitwear and simple brushed cotton skirts and trousers, their heads wrapped in check print cotton scarves to shield them from the cold. A colour palette of warm neutral hues added to the nostalgic, wistful air Marras has become famous for. Marras and wife Patricia were on hand to talk us through the collection and even give us the lowdown on their favourite Sardinian beaches, making for perfect summer dreaming on this chilly February day.
