Aquascutum gets younger and grungier under Joanna Sykes’ direction.Entitled ‘English Icons,’ the collection focused on reworked outerwear using multitudes of texture and fabrications. From suedes, deerskinsand bonded leather right up to neoprene mohair and silk. Combining unexpected fabrics and textures, sports jacket hoods were merged with tweedtrenches. Accessories made their debut this season and consisted of bags, clutches, furry fingerless gloves and modern block heel boots, a very welcome introduction indeed.
