A 9:30am start did not deter the crowds, as a jam-packed Billingsgate venue showcased Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos’s Fall offering. This season, they’ve moved into tougher, anarchic territory, with more tailoring and leaner, sharper lines on show. This was echoed in the prints; weighty chain-print checks, graphically smudged shapes and wire mesh motifs. Dresses were heavily slashed and then sashed, draped and tied, creating an impressive take on modern tribalism.
