London, 19/02/11. Charles Anastase

Charles Anastase made a deal with the gods with morning; while the audience were still dripping from the rain, the designer’s models entered to a soundtrack of simulated showers and thunder, with French lyrics ‘Il plu’ (it rains). The collection featured ruffle collared blouses, billowing New Look skirts and floor grazing, loose fitting dresses with nipped in waists and high necks. Prim and proper, if a little prairie, Anastase’s girls were the respectable kind you could bring home.
