A performance collective, Scottee and friends question aspects of the society we live in with a series of events that take on varied themes. This is always a real treat with notable performers such as Ryan Styles, Myra Dubois, La John Joseph, Miss Annabel Sings and Scottee himself. Music and interactive installations make this a thoroughly entertaining evening.

Since opening over seven years ago, The George & Dragon in Hackney has established itself as the local pub with a difference, hosting an array of DJ guests and events. ‘Candy’ magazine held their launch party here, The House Of Egypt originated there. Every evening promises something different in the way of music and cocktails!

The Dalston Superstore has set a new precedent for Dalston nightlife, with an upstairs and downstairs bar and nights such as Hot boy Dancing Spot, Phatt Bitch and Dutty. Created by Dan Beaumont of Disco Bloodbath and Mickey Most of Trailer Trash, evenings kick off around 9pm and license permitting, carry on until the small hours. P.s. don’t forget there’s an excellent kitchen with food provided by the fabulous Elaine Chalmers!

This long running Sunday nighter over in Vauxhall’s The Eagle has gained something of a global reputation. Jim Stanton and James Hillard, along with residents Luke Howard and Severino DJ the most exciting sets of rarities and classics.

At this monthly electronic body music night, expect to hear DAF, Nitzer Ebb and obscuro electro. Residents Linn Hutchinson and Simon Preen play alongside guest DJs such as Endurance, Richard Clouston (Cosey Club) and Pandora’s Jukebox.

Running for over a year at various venues, Divine Incest has built up a reputation for daring to experiment. Felicity Hayward hosts Dee Fodor DJs with such guests as Barry 7, DJ Jungs & Technik and Friedche Strasse, and artists and bands including Noisy Pig from Berlin, No Kisses and The Stanley Schinter Picture Show.

The reputation of the Endurance team is fast becoming legendary! With nights that have earned a loyal following across London, the UK Endurance Mix v2 is currently doing the rounds so grab a copy!

Now in its 8th year, this annual event curated and produced by Oliver Frost and Marc Massive, showcases and merges art, fashion, pop and club culture. The theme this year on the 6 July is ‘Censorship’.
Monthly night with residents Spider Webb and Tom Furse, Coffin Joe and Chris McMillan. The mood is freak beat rhythm and blues psyce; a real trip and education into the realms of the early dance of the 60s. Bands include The Ruling Class and Flats.
Set in Hainault Forest on 4-5 September, this festival showcases bands that exist on the edge of the mainstream. Representing the underground of the UK scene through the years, previous headliners have included Gang of Four and The Slits. This year boasts new music from Blue On Blue and Fiction who are to release a single on the newly formed Offset Recordings label.
